Midland Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 36-26 victory over the Brook Hill Guard on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Brook Hill's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Savannah Onley, who posted three points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Indeya Williams, who put up five points in addition to eight boards and five steals.
Midland Christian's win bumped their record up to 29-7. As for Brook Hill, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 35-7.
Midland Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-53 victory against Legacy Prep Christian Academy on the 28th. Brook Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
