After some red-hot offensive attacks in their last three contests, The Antioch Panthers finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They were beaten by Pittsburg 55-6. Antioch has struggled against Pittsburg recently, as their contest on Saturday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Yusef Jenkins threw for 130 yards and a touchdown. Angel Jr buezo was his top target, picking up 54 receiving yards. On the ground, Jaimaun Glover rushed for 50 yards.
Elijah Bow was his usual excellent self, rushing for 67 yards and three touchdowns. Bow is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Noah Quesada also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.
Antioch's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Pittsburg, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Antioch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pittsburg will stay at home for another week and welcome Amador Valley at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Amador Valley is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
