Despite the loss, North Star still got an impressive performance from Blake Hansen, who scored 20 points along with two steals. Hansen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Milt Pettit was another key contributor, scoring four points along with nine rebounds.
North Star's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-14. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.2 points per game. As for Marsing, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
North Star will head out on the road to take on Cole Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cole Valley Christian will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Marsing, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Melba at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Melba presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Marsing in Idaho (Melba is ranked 28th, while Marsing is ranked 88th).
