In what's become a running theme this season, the Middleton Vikings gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 64-18 victory over Centennial on the road. The victory was nothing new for Middleton as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Leading Middleton to victory were Robynn Flowers and Zoey Blackwell. Flowers scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Blackwell scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Blackwell hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Elsie Wyatt, who scored six points along with four steals and two blocks.
Middleton pushed their record up to 14-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Centennial, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Middleton will be playing at home against Eagle at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Eagle is ranked 11th, while Middleton is ranked 12th). As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to square off against Capital at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
