Everything went their way against the Mountain View Yellowjackets on Thursday as the Flippin Bobcats made off with an 18-3 win. Adrianne Benedict and Kelsey Hickey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Benedict struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Hickey tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Benedict has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. At the plate, Benedict scored four runs while going 3-for-5, while Hickey scored a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, Benedict posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in March of 2024.
