Rector took their game against Cross County on Friday by a conclusive 30-8 score. Rector were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Rector back to even at 3-3. The loss dropped Cross County's record to 3-4.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Rector take on Midland at 7:00 PM. Midland are limping into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Cross County, they will face off against East Poinsett County.
