Olympic has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the East Gaston Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Olympic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Olympic got the win against South Aiken by a conclusive 59-34. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-16.
Olympic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from RANDY JOHNSON, who scored 17 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which JOHNSON has scored at least 25% of Olympic's points. JADEN HARDNETT was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, East Gaston's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 51-44 to Rock Hill. While losing is never fun, East Gaston can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 372nd in North Carolina, while Rock Hill is ranked 185th in South Carolina).
The losses dropped Olympic to 2-6 and South Aiken to 1-7.
