Meanwhile, Washington's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Uniontown on the road and fell 97-40.
Charleroi's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Charleroi might still be hurting after the 63-42 loss they got from Washington when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Charleroi avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
