Avery Townsend, Pendleton County's leader in stolen bases on the season, led the team again on Tuesday. Townsend was dialed in as she scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. She was up against Moorefield and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in March of 2024. Townsend has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played.
