Tamia Watkins continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 36 points, ten rebounds, and ten steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Andrew Jackson's points. Another player making a difference was Ayona Alexander, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals.
When it comes to explaining why York Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is Payton Munsey. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points.
The victory (which was Andrew Jackson's eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.5 points per game. As for York Prep, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

York Prep won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cheraw at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Cheraw is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
