On Friday, The Lewisburg Patriots got themselves on the board against the Horn Lake Eagles, but the Horn Lake Eagles never followed suit. They snuck past the Eagles with a 6-0 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Lewisburg, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
The team won by holding Horn Lake to a paltry 222 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Lewisburg's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out four times before it was all said and done. Horn Lake's QB won't forget Jamar James anytime soon given James sacked him four times.
Lewisburg's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Horn Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
