Kennedy extended their winning streak to eight on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 8-0 in the process. Everything went their way against the Washburn Millers as they made off with a 12-1 win. Emma Skibbie made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
