 Billy Miller made a splash no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those  ten  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games he's  played.
 In other batting news, Kouts got a  massive  performance out of  Landon Garrett, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.  Ben Finney also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  triple of the season.
 Kouts  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in five consecutive  contests.
Kouts' win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-2. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Tri-Township,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-6.
