The biggest upset of the week belonged to Shawnee, who took down 235th ranked Shawnee, 28-20. Doug Sanders threw for 148 yards and ran for 95 yards in the win.
Kenton moved up to 54 from 95 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Western Buckeye. The Wildcats climbed the ranks as a result of a 50-21 win over Elida.
Kenton's dynamic duo of Grant Sherman and Justin Sawmiller proved tough for the Bulldogs to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sherman threw for 547 yards and seven touchdowns and Sawmiller had 267 yards receiving. Kollin Stollar helped Kenton's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 103 yards.
Chris Dienstberger made the biggest impact on defense this week as Bath beat the Indians. The 5-foot-9 senior grabbed one sack.
Mike Mauk's team's Sherman and Sawmiller have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Sherman has thrown for 2545 yards this season, while Sawmiller, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 75 catches for 1179 yards. The Wildcats' Sanders leads the league in rushing yards with 730.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Ottawa-Glandorf takes on Elida. The Titans have allowed 76 points this season, while Jason Carpenter's team has given up 94.
There should be lots of points scored when Bath and the Wildcats face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Chris Miller's team comes in having scored 233 this season, while Kenton has scored 254. The Wildcats scored 28 points last week as they bested Shawnee.
Ottawa-Glandorf extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Wapakoneta, 27-7. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
