After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maize South, the Andover Central Jaguars were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They breezed by Haysville Campus on the road to the tune of 66-13. That's another feather in the cap for Andover Central, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Andover Central to victory were Haven Deckinger and Hayden Snodgrass. Deckinger scored 13 points along with 6 steals and 5 assists, while Snodgrass scored 24 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Snodgrass has scored at least 25% of Andover Central's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Mason, who scored 6 points along with 5 steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Haysville Campus struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Andover Central racked up 21.
The victory got Andover Central back to even at 1-1. As for Haysville Campus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Andover Central will take on Derby at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Haysville Campus, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Newton at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th.
