The biggest upset of the week belonged to Serra, who took down 317th ranked Patrick Henry, 35-24. HUNTER CORRELL threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Morse moved up to 399 from 528 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in City. A 21-17 win over the Tigers helped the Tigers improve their standing.
The Conquistadors' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground JAHLIL JOHNSON chipped in 102 yards. CALVIN CROCKETT helped Serra's passing attack out by catching two balls for 51 yards.
KWAHMELL ARCHER was the best wideout in the league this week as Serra defeated the Patriots. ARCHER tallied three receptions for 104 yards.
Patrick Henry's James McCormick and Jabril Clewis have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. McCormick has thrown for 658 yards this season, while Clewis, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 19 catches for 382 yards. WILLIE MARTINEZ from Brian Basteyns' team leads the league in rushing with 361 yards.
A big matchup in City this week will be when Hoover takes on the Conquistadors. The Cardinals are in first place, while Serra is in third place.
There should be lots of points scored when Hoover and the Conquistadors face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Jerry Ralph's team comes in having scored 171 this season, while Serra has scored 175. The Cardinals scored 21 points last week as they bested Morse.
Hoover extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Tracy Mcnair's team, 21-17. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
