On Friday Sheldon take on Sioux Center at 7:00 PM. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Sheldon now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.
After soaring to 45 points the game before, Sheldon faltered in their game last Friday. They took a 7-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of MOC-Floyd Valley.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Sioux Center, but their most recent contest may have softened the blow. They took the matchup and then some with a 41-0 win last Friday over Okoboji. The win was a breath of fresh air for Sioux Center as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
The last time the two teams met, Sheldon and Sioux Center were almost perfectly matched up the last time the two teams met, but Sheldon suffered an agonizing 40-41 loss. Can Sheldon avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
