You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Rancho Cotate's strategy against Petaluma on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Rancho Cotate Cougars blew the Petaluma Trojans out of the water with a 64-18 final score. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Rancho Cotate was led to victory by Izayah Rush and Adam Pengel. Rush almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards, while Pengel went 6 of 12 on his way to 14 points and three steals. Rush is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Decimus Shaw was another key player, putting up seven points and four steals.

Rancho Cotate pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.7 points. As for Petaluma, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
