Richmond has gone 9-1 against Buckfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bobcats will welcome the Bucks at 4:00 p.m. Richmond is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
On Tuesday, Richmond made easy work of Old Orchard Beach and carried off a 13-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Cale Harrington was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zander Steele, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Richmond was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Buckfield came up short against Telstar on Wednesday, falling 10-4. The loss continues a trend for the Bucks in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost four in a row.
Buckfield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Krosby Harvey, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Austin Verrill also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Richmond pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Buckfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
Buckfield's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Richmond has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .485. It's a different story for Buckfield, though, as they've only averaged .337. Will they be able to contain Richmond's hitters?
