Softball Recap: Jesuit Extends Winning Streak to Three

Jesuit hadn't done well against Southridge recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Crusaders walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Skyhawks. The win was familiar territory for the Crusaders, who have now won three contests in a row.

Olivia Hildreth was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Selah Greene also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Jesuit hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Jesuit's record now sits at 10-8. As for Southridge, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jesuit will challenge rival Beaverton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Southridge is set to take on their familiar foe Mountainside at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
