The Ridgeline Riverhawks stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mountain Crest 73-18 on the road. Ridgeline is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 13 straight.
Leading Ridgeline to victory were Elise Livingston and Emilee Skinner. Livingston scored 20 points along with six assists and three steals, while Skinner dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. Skinner has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more points the last 13 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Hallee Smith, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Mountain Crest struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Ridgeline pulled down 11 offensive rebounds.
Ridgeline pushed their record up to 16-2 with that win, which was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Mountain Crest, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Ridgeline will be playing at home against the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Green Canyon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Riverhawks are ranked first). As for Mountain Crest, they will head out on the road to challenge the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
