Evansville North's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryson Chapman, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. Ashton Smallwood was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Even though they lost, Evansville North smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Castle only pulled down five offensive rebounds.
Castle's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Evansville North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.
Castle is on the road again on Friday and plays Evansville Harrison at 5:30 p.m. on March 1st. Castle has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Evansville North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
