Alexander won the last time they faced Weslaco and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 77-65. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kade Lopez, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Michael Fuentes, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 17 points.

Alexander's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Weslaco, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alexander will head out to square off against Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Cardinals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.71 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Weslaco, they will challenge London at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
