Cypress Creek put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. Even though Fivay has not done well against the Eagles recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Malia Shuler was a one-man wrecking crew for Fivay as she dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaslene Medina, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
Cypress Creek's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.3 points. Fivay's record is now 13-10.
