Copper Basin extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Kloie Ballew. The Copper Basin Cougars claimed a resounding 74-32 victory over the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles thanks to Ballew, who went 10-for-17 on her way to 21 points along with eight assists and seven boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Cora Kimsey was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals. Copper Basin is 9-1 when Kimsey posts three or more steals, but 5-7 otherwise.

Copper Basin's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points over those games. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars face off against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Copper Basin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests. Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
