The Iowa Park Hawks pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Abilene Christian.
It was another big night for Bryinn Waggoner, who scored 21 points along with five assists and five rebounds for Abilene Christian. Waggoner is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Schwiethale, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Iowa Park's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Abilene Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-12.
Iowa Park will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Holliday at 6:00 p.m. Holliday will be looking to extend their current 17-game winning streak. Abilene Christian and May will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
