Wood will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Mountain House at 5:30 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Wood found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 12-46 punch to the gut against Clovis East last Friday.
Meanwhile, Mountain House had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They suffered a grim 3-30 defeat to Chavez on Friday.
