The Moss Point Tigers lost against the Ocean Springs Greyhounds back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Moss Point took a 20-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ocean Springs. Moss Point has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zaria Nettles, who scored 4 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Kaliyah Richardson, who scored 3 points along with 3 steals.
Moss Point has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Ocean Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moss Point will take on Long Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ocean Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Luke's Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
