In other batting news, Sydney Bryant was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Regan Sheilds was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Nelson County fell victim to William Campbell and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 6-0 to the Generals. The Governors have struggled against the Generals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.
Appomattox County pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Nelson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
