Olentangy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Grove City with a sharp 60-38 victory on Tuesday. Given Olentangy's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Grove City is ranked 316th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sydney Mobley continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 20 rebounds. She set a new season high mark in blocks with seven. Chayla Rankin was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Thomas Worthington was the victim of a rough 58-35 defeat at the hands of Olentangy Liberty on Friday.
Olentangy pushed their record up to 8-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Thomas Worthington, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
