They never let the Covington Trojans get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for North Putnam, who have now won three contests in a row.

North Putnam's win bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Covington, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9-2.

Coming up, North Putnam will welcome Cascade at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covington, they will head out on the road to face off against Terre Haute South Vigo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
