The biggest upset of the week belonged to Springfield, who took down 140th ranked Rossview, 49-42.
Kenwood's Maleek Hall rumbled for the longest rushing play in AAA District 10 this season in his game against Northwest last week. Hall's team topped the Vikings as he sprinted for 92 yards on the play and finished with 111 in all.
Kenwood's dynamic duo of Malcom Perry and John Truong proved tough for Northwest to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Perry threw for 118 yards and one touchdown and Truong had 49 yards receiving. Hall helped Kenwood's passing attack out by catching one ball for 41 yards.
Otis Gerron was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 297 yards on 17 carries as Dickson County beat Chris Austin's team. Teammate Andy Smith added to the ground attack by rushing for 43 yards.
The Knights' Perry and Hall have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Perry has thrown for 530 yards this season, while Hall has 14 catches for 312 yards. Gerron from the Cougars leads the league in rushing with 1137 yards.
The top two teams in AAA District 10 will face off this week when first place Dickson County takes on second place Northeast. Last week, Dickson County beat West Creek, while Northeast topped Henry County.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Troy Williams's team takes on the Eagles. The Cougars have allowed 93 points this season, while Northeast has given up 88. Dickson County allowed 12 points last week as it bested the Coyote.
The Cougars extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating West Creek, 42-12. The victory was the seventh in a row for Dickson County.
