The Kamehameha Kapalama Warriors put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 57-50 win over Hamilton.
Kamehameha Kapalama got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nihoa Dunn out in front who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Dunn has scored at least 25% of Kamehameha Kapalama's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikylah Labanon, who scored 11 points.
Kamehameha Kapalama has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 10-0 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kamehameha Kapalama will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on 'Iolani at 6:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Hamilton will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
