Tony Gillespie continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with seven assists and two steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Pleasanton's points. Another player making a difference was Mario Davis, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Pleasanton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Marmaton Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasanton on the road again on Friday and play against Altoona-Midway at 5:00 p.m. on January 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Altoona-Midway is ranked 266th, while Pleasanton is ranked 248th). As for Marmaton Valley, they will head out on the road to take on St. Paul on Friday.
