After losing to the Georgetown Bulldogs the last time they met, the Carvers Bay Bears decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Carvers Bay claimed a resounding 74-14 win over Georgetown at home.
Carvers Bay's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was D'Essence Graham, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Jasmyn Jenkins was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 3 steals.
Carvers Bay's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Georgetown, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Carvers Bay will head out on the road to face off against Lake View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake View is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Georgetown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
