Central Bucks South extended the longest winning streak in Suburban One - Continental this week by beating Souderton, 44-28. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Central Bucks South made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 380 from 445. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 44-28 victory over the Indians last week.
Central Bucks West's dynamic duo of Cody Riemenschneider and Kurt Logan proved tough for Pennridge to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Riemenschneider threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns and Logan had 99 yards receiving. Corey Schott helped Central Bucks West's passing attack out by catching three balls for 52 yards.
Josh Adams was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 30 carries, he ran for 197 yards as Dave Rackovan's team fell to the Rams. Bobby Mallon also contributed to the rushing game with 36 yards on the ground.
5-foot-8 quarterback Riemenschneider of Central Bucks West is the league leader in passing yards this season with 916. He has also thrown nine touchdowns. On the ground, the Titans' Adams has rushed for 1121 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Paul Weeks. The Central Bucks South star has 15 catches for 288 yards.
The marquee game in Suburban One - Continental this week will be the clash between North Penn and Central Bucks South. The Knights enters the game ranked 13th in the state, while the Titans ranks 18th.
Pennridge's Mike Class is a mere 21 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Class has rushed for 979 yards on 122 carries so far this year.
Central Bucks South led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Ed Gallagher's team. Jon Pileggi threw for 219 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
