Pine Tree barely beat Chapel Hill the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pirates were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Pine Tree walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.

Pine Tree's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Chapel Hill, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.
