Lakeside can attribute much of their success to Michael Youngblood, who put up eight points. That's the most points Youngblood has posted since back in February of 2024.
Greenbrier has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season. Their recent woes sure aren't a result of their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 34.4% in those games and 27% outside of them. As for Lakeside, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-9.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Evans the next time they take the court. Lakeside will head out to face Evans at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Greenbrier will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
