Twin Valley South's loss came despite strong showings from Jordan Ritchie and Brylii Day. Ritchie scored 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Day scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Madison was led to victory by Emily Webb and Kylie Wells. Webb scored 19 points along with two steals, while Wells dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wells has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Malerie Bobbitt, who scored seven points.
Twin Valley South's defeat was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.8 points per game. As for Madison, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.
Twin Valley South will square off against the Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, they will head out on the road to square off against the Indians at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
