Two dominant guards in Xander Niehaus and Grant Porath are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Castle Knights will take on the Brownsburg Bulldogs at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Brownsburg took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Castle, who comes in off a win.
Castle scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Evansville Central 91-70. Castle has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Castle's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adler Mcatee, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ayden Mcatee, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Brownsburg ended up a good deal behind Fishers on Friday and lost 60-45. While losing is never fun, Brownsburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Fishers is ranked first).
The win got Castle back to even at 5-5. As for Brownsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
