Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Ennis Mustangs walked away with it. They blew past Circle 67-26 at home. The victory was just business as usual for Ennis, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
It was another big night for CLINTIN BUYAN, who threw for 141 yards and six touchdowns, and also rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of CHAZ VELAND, who gained 155 total yards and a touchdown.
Ennis' victory was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 11-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.64 points. As for Circle, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
Ennis will head out on the road to face off against Belt at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Belt is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Circle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
