Ari Dixon posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Dixon and Archbishop Murphy will square off against Edmonds-Woodway at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last time these two faced off, Dixon and Co. were forced to settle for a 9-2 loss.
