Unaka's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Haley Taylor, who scored ten points along with six assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Taylor, who scored eight points.
Unaka's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14. As for Cosby, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
Unaka will head out on the road to square off against Cloudland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Cloudland will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for Cosby, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Maryville Christian at 6:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Maryville Christian is ranked 257th, while Cosby is ranked 275th).
