Norcross kicked off their season on the road  on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell  2-0 to the River Ridge Knights. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in August of 2024.
 Sofia Guerrero-Wilson paced Norcross' offense, picking up eight kills. Guerrero-Wilson got some help from  Ellie Ruth Blue and her 12 assists.  Dakota Washington controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
The  win was  the third in a row for River Ridge, bringing their record up to 3-0.
 Norcross didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  victory against South Forsyth on the 8th. River Ridge has also already played their next  contest (against Cherokee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
