It was a good run, but Newberry unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They and the Williston Red Devils finished up their match with a 3-3 draw. The result kept the Panthers happy, as they haven't lost a game since November 18th.

They hit Williston with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lucas Nowels, Dylan Mobbs, and Maximus Dietz.

Newberry's draw gives them a new season record of 7-2-1. As for Williston, they moved theirs to 6-3-2.

Newberry wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Lafayette on the 16th. Williston and Dunnellon will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
