The IDEA Parmer Wizards suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They suffered a rough 44-19 loss at the hands of Founders Classical Academy.
Leading Founders Classical Academy to victory were Mary Tavarez and Faith Buterbaugh. Tavarez dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds, while Buterbaugh dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Tavarez is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games she's played. Anna Mishler was another key contributor, scoring four points along with three steals.
IDEA Parmer's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Founders Classical Academy, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
IDEA Parmer will head out on the road to face off against Valor North Austin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Founders Classical Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against KIPP Austin Collegiate at 6:30 p.m.
