Bishop Eustace Prep has gone a perfect 3-0 against Rancocas Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Crusaders are taking a road trip to challenge the Red Devils at 4:00 p.m. Bishop Eustace Prep will be looking to extend their current 15-game winning streak.
Bishop Eustace Prep came out on top against Moorestown on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run seventh inning. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Quakers. Considering the Crusaders have won 15 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Carson Brandt and Brandon Hartman dominated on the mound. Brandt pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits, while Hartman pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Brandt has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Roman Faiola was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025. JJ McLaughlin was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Rancocas Valley narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Lenape 3-2. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Christian Corbezzolo looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Rancocas Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Vallee, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Bishop Eustace Prep's record is now 18-3-1. As for Rancocas Valley, their record now sits at 15-7-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bishop Eustace Prep has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Rancocas Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Bishop Eustace Prep beat Rancocas Valley 9-6 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
