It was a good run, but Heard County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 59-45 to the Red Bank Lions. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 339th in Georgia, while the Lions are ranked 103rd in Tennessee).

It was another big night for Dj Wilbur, who made all 7 shots he took to post 18 points for Red Bank. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobey Jones, who went 5 of 7 en route to 13 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Heard County's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Red Bank, their record is now 9-2.

Heard County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-39 defeat against Newnan on the 3rd. As for Red Bank, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-49 win against McCallie on the 2nd.
