Calvert has gone a perfect 3-0 against South Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Senecas will be playing at home against the Trojans at 11:00 a.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Calvert has four straight victories, South Central has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
While Calvert didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Lakota with a sharp 12-2 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Senecas, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.
