One reason for the win was Hilliard Davidson's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-14.
Hilliard Bradley better keep an eye on Logan Buck. He was instrumental in Hilliard Davidson's win, getting 16 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Buck a new career-high.
The victory got Hilliard Davidson back to even at 7-7. As for Hilliard Bradley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's contest: Hilliard Bradley has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Hilliard Davidson struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
